Fun and quirky ceramics by illustrator Caroline Selmes

Caroline Selmes

If anyone is considering starting their year off with some evening classes, then these ceramics by Caroline Selmes should be the perfect way to give yourself that little extra push and actually go out and take a class. Their so much fun, and despite their simplicity, they have so much personality. If I had the time, 2014 would certainly be my year for trying my hand at ceramics.

Caroline Selmes

Caroline is a French illustrator and a former art director. Currently she is based in London, but in the past she has worked in Paris, Barcelona and Madrid. It was while living in Spain that she took some classes with the Spanish ceramic artist Lusesita and the resulting work is what you see featured here. I’m a big fan of Caroline’s illustration style so it’s wonderful to see it transformed into three-dimensions with this ceramic work.

You can see more work from Caroline on her website here.
