Technically, malmost all design is done by hand, even if you’re working in Photoshop. Finding interesting twists on the idea of handmade has proved to be quite fun though, like this piece from Simon Walker. Essentially he’s taken the idea of typography and turned into a physical object that’s actually laying on a tabletop. If you only saw the image above, you’d have no idea that this was actually sculpted.
The piece was created for the sixth issue of 8 Faces magazine which features interviews with Simon, Dan Rhatigan, Seb Lester, Nina Stössinger, Grant Hutchinson, Mike Kus, and Eric Olson and Nicole Dotin of Process Type.
