You know those mornings when you wake up with a random song stuck in your head? For me this morning I had a random track from The Beta Band called Push It Out swimming around, so I thought I’d share it. It’s a song that starts out simply but begins to slowly build, travelling and unravelling to a crescendo then back down again. The repeated lyrics in the beginning remind me of a chant, creating a sound that’s almost like a grey sound, something neutral that’s perfect to work to.
The song comes from their infamous The Three E.P.’s album, which as you might guess collects their first three E.P.’s on one disc. If you’ve never listened to it before I’d highly recommend it. It’s kind of crazy to think that this album came out in ’98, time is flying by so fast.
