A couple weekends back I was on the look out for a couple of interesting items to share and I found something to eat and something to write with. First is the Sierra Wooden Mechanical Pencil, which I thought was a nice melding of both natural and mechanical. It seems like an ordinary pencil until you click the eraser, like most mechanical pencils. The surprising detail though is the tiny brass tip which gives it just a bit of style. I’ve been using this to fill in the Life notebook I bought not too long ago. You can snag yourself one by clicking here.
The other thing I grabbed was a Mast Brothers Dark Chocolate Stumptown Coffee Bar from the Steven Alan on Robertson. I’m not much of a chocolate or sweets person, but when you put coffee into the mix I have a hard time saying no. It ended up being surprisingly fruity, but still extremely delicious. Plus there’s the packaging, with it’s heavy outer wrapper and Wonka golden ticket inner wrapper, which makes the entire experience all the more entertaining. If you’re looking to get one of these just Google it, it’s not hard to find.
