I was checking out design work life the other day and came across a slew of amazing stuff, so much that I’m trying not to just import the whole damn blog onto the site. But I feel like the posts today have been filled with bright colors and happiness which I think the world might need right now. So I thought I’d point your eyes to a very talented guy named Erik Hamline, who runs the print/design shop Steady Print Shop Co. Erik is based in Minneapolis and his mission statement is fantastic, “The sole mission of Steady Co. is to work hard for good people and create things at the absolute height of our ability- no exceptions, no bullshit.”
I loved his work so much that I immediately bought two of his pieces to hang in my bedroom, the one you see above called Celestial Septet and another called Untitled No. 01. I love the rough, photographs with the bright colors draped over them. They feel very folk-y and handmade to me, really lovely work.
