For some unknown reason, I am a real sucker for anyone who knows how to wield a paintbrush that has been lightly dipped in watercolour paint, and there are few that use watercolours as beautifully as Morin Zasly. Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, Zasly predominantly focuses on female subjects and uses watercolour to add subtle pops of colour to her otherwise monochrome compositions. With their translucent and delicate feel, her work possesses a feminine aesthetic that is as pretty as it is technically detailed. Zasly is definitely a future fashion illustrator to watch out for. I’d put money on it.
