The Desktop Wallpaper Project featuring YONIL

After a long run of Sights & Sounds wallpapers we’re going to take a little break and get back to some classic desktop wallpapers, just some damn good art. Up first is a fella’ named YONIL, aka Jonathan Lax, an Israeli illustrator and graphic designer living and working in Tel-Aviv. His style is pretty eclectic, encompassing mixed media, sketchy, graffiti style work as well as some nice typography. For his wallpaper he created this rad image that’s kind of graffiti inspired with sort of a Barry McGee look to it. I’m loving all the subtle details in the splatters and the bits of greens and blues popping up in the streaks to the right. A big thanks to YONIL for this awesome wallpaper.
