Last week, Portland’s Starfucker (or STRFKR if you’re not a fan of cussing) announced that they’ll be releasing a new album on the 8th of March entitled Reptilians. To mark this news they’ve released a track from the album called Bury Us Alive and it’s a gem of a track. For me, this track sounds like the summer and has me excited about warm evenings, trips to the country and visits to exciting new cities. Starfucker has always had a terrifically infectious sound and this track is no exception – it’s pure electro-pop bliss and a great way to kick off your Monday.

You can pre-order their new album over on Polyvinyl and when you do you’ll receive an instant mp3 download of the entire album. I also have to add that I love the picture of the Octopus above, it was drawn by Hilary Allen as part of a shirt design contest which the band ran on their MySpace page.
