Time Warp Project by Uira Lamour

This video by Brazilian filmmaker Uira Lamour is both shocking in how sad and beautiful it is all at once. Called Time Warp Project this film was created for Uira’s graduation project, and in his own words, “to exercise some CG techniques and improve my portfolio.” It was created using 3DsMmax, Vray, Rayfire, Zbrush, Pftrack, Nuke, After Effects, and a I believe some live video at the beginning. I don’t really want to say too much about the video and give it away, but what he did visually is stunning. The use of depth of field shifting in and out gives an amazing amount of focus and depth and the way he uses lighting to accentuate the details makes the video that much more nuanced. Really great work.
