One of the most interesting forms of design to me is packaging design, I think because it effects everyone no matter who you are. As Andy Warhol said, “You can be watching TV and see Coca-Cola, and you know that the President drinks Coke, Liz Taylor drinks Coke, and just think, you can drink Coke, too.” So seing innovative packaging like MLK by Depot WPF is a sight to behold. Milk is one of those ubiquitous sort of items that so many households throughout the world has in their fridge. The use of hand drawn materials like wicker or bark on the box is extremely elegant and beautiful and the subtle type treatment makes this milk look like it would be fit for the most posh of people. I feel like if I saw this sitting on a shelf at a store I would gasp. It’s like nothing I’ve ever seen before.

Beautiful packaging! Companies really do need to put effort in their package designing efforts – people like me judge things by the cover.

Agreed! I was drinking almond milk today and actually looked at the container (which i usually avoid due to its design) and thought, this should look better.

Although nice, this is a purely imaginary, self promotion project. There is no such thing as mlk brand. All the background behind it is pure fiction. Depot WPF has created this design with a sole purpose to participate in festivals and showcases. That is why all inscriptions on the package are made in English, although Depot WPF is a Russian agency, that serves a pool of Russian clients. Cheating!
