A Very Little Christmas

I am not ashamed to admit that I absolutely adore the lead up to Christmas. Having said that, I do lose interest in Christmas carols after I’ve heard “Jingle Bells” and “Silent Night” one too many times. So I have to say that I am quite a bit in love with A Very Little Christmas, a compilation album featuring original songs from a delightful cohort of New Zealand-based musicians. With references to making a “French Kissmass” and questioning why “mummy put stockings on the mantlepiece”, it’s not your average Christmas album. It’s so good that I’m sure it will even appeal to people with the holiday season grumps. And that can’t be a bad thing.
