David Galletly

Looking at David Galletly’s rather remarkable body of work two visual motifs continually pop up: dismemberment and cereal. Yes, the now Glasgow-based artist, illustrator and graphic designer likes to splice off the body parts of his subjects and occasionally produce extremely detailed studies of corn flakes and coco pops. And, frankly, I love it! His fine and intricate illustrations are infused with humour and an appeal that is simultaneously strange and wonderful.

Galletly is not just about severed arms and weetabix, you can see much, much more on his blog and online shop.
