San Francisco for the Holiday Weekend

September 3, 2010 - By Bobby Solomon - Category: Life

Photo above by Andrea Cheng

I’m gonna be in San Francisco with Kyle for the holiday weekend and we couldn’t be more excited. I grew up in the Sacramento area so San Francisco is like a second home to me. I was wondering if there are any art shows, concerts or fun events going on? If you know of anything click the title and leave a comment.

(Disclaimer, I wrote this on my phone and now realized how drunk I sound. Whoops, sorry!)

  2. Vetiver and Panda Bear are playing this weekend. Otherwise we’re having the best weather we’ve had so far this summer, so you picked a good weekend.

  4. There’s a pretty kick ass show going on at a bowling alley just outside of SF: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=137846249583242&index=1.

  5. SF ZineFest in Golden Gate Park (http://www.sfzinefest.com/about.html). I think there’s also free admission to the Asian Art Museum and the Oakland Museum (rad-looking Pixar exhibit!) on Sunday.

  10. Unfortunately I don’t have any good ideas, but just wanted to say “Have Fun!”. I grew up around there as well, and always love going back ~ it’s a special place. :) Love the photo, too!
