August 12, 2010 - By Bobby Solomon - Category: VideoThe video above called WORDS created by Everynone (along with Radiolab and NPR) is one of those exquisitely crafted pieces of art that totally gives me chills. It’s such an easy idea, essentially, taking a word like ‘Play’ and showing all the different meanings of the word, but then stringing more words together with it and finding commonalities. I think my favorite section is when the words change from ‘split’ to ‘run’, it’s totally charming and honestly gives me chills. I’d suggest watching this a couple times to catch all the subtle details.
