No Country for Small Men is a series of models and photographs by Florian Tremp. The best way to describe the series, I think, is as vignettes: evocative, murky and humorous vignettes. The title is a play on the movie No Country for Old Men, which, if you haven’t seen, is pretty much like this photo from the series (only the villain has a scarier haircut.)
The series features torched late-model luxury cars, hasty burials adjacent to manufactured housing and an oil spill. Growing over the last six months, you can wait on the edge of your computer chair until a suspect scale figure is apprehended or some kind of credits are uploaded. I didn’t even know they made scale figures with hazmat suits.
