Official Trailer for ‘The Social Network’
July 15, 2010 - By Bobby Solomon - Category: Films & VideoThe first official trailer for David Fincher’s Facebook-based film The Social Network is out and my god does it look great. The first thing you’ll notice is the music, a choir version of Creep by Radiohead as you see photos and icons and status updates. Around the 1 minute mark you see some actual footage and you can immediately see that this is absolutely a David Fincher film. The lighting is dark and moody, the shots are close and intimate feeling and the colors are perfectly desaturated.
I can’t wait to see this movie.

If you've got something to say, keep it positive.just the trailer practically made me delete my facespace account. had to post the trailer up there though. talk about “ripped from the headlines” (double creep factor if you live in boston and your brother when to H-bomb at the same time as these guys.)
creep is right… leave it to a movie trailer soundtrack to blatantly show how creepy Facebook is.
i love how the images shown and the song itself portray exactly why such a large percentage of people signed up for Facebook in the first place – all their insecurities…
Facebook sucks. Good idea, but they’ve gone too far. I deleted my account 6months ago.
I’m pretty sure that cover of Creep is the version by Scala, a Belgian all-teenage-girl choir. Here’s where you can get it online: http://www.emusic.com/album/Scala-On-The-Rocks-MP3-Download/10969086.html
They also do a cover of Everything in Its Right Place on the album It All Leads To This.
