In my first year of primary school I was sent to an extra-curricula Japanese class where, instead of learning the nuances of the Japanese dialect, we were made to practice picking up Rice Bubbles (aka Rice Krispies) with chopsticks. Had this experience turned out differently I would possibly be able to tell you more about Japanese brand OLIVEdesOLIVE, because, at this stage, I am struggling with the Japanese characters on their site and dexterity with chopsticks isn’t much help.

Thankfully, you don’t need to understand Japanese to appreciate OLIVEdesOLIVE’s Spring/Summer collection for 2010. Its very sweet and feminine without being too saccharine, and features a nice mix of floral patterns combined with neutral tones and pops of watermelon pink. Now, if only I could read the print on their online shop.
