Thank You.

April 25, 2010 - By Bobby Solomon - Category: Art & Design & Illustration & Kitsune Noir & Los Angeles

I just wanted to write a little note saying thank you to, well, all of you. The blog actually turned 3 years old at the beginning of April but I didn’t make a fuss about it really. But it’s still amazing to me that there are so many of you out there who continue to enjoy what I’m doing, it still kind of boggles my mind. I feel like I’m just a kid who likes good design, but then I meet so many of you who really appreciate what I do and make me realize it’s more than that.

Thanks to everyone who came out tonight and supported myself, Poketo and all of the amazing Los Angeles based artists. Thanks to all of you who read the site and help make it what it is. And thanks to all my wonderful friends who came out to support me even though I’ve basically dropped off the map because I work so much. I had such an amazing night, my first art show!, and I can’t wait for the next big thing.

Sincerely,
Bobby

  1. Hey, Thank you, Bobby! It’s been a pleasure and a delicious curse learning about these topics! I forgot where I found your blog but it’s been my hub for others ever since. One night I was at a show in Connecticut, and saw a wallpaper from one of the project posts on a performers laptop. The roots are reaching down deep, branches towards the skye. Sat Nam.

I see your wallpapers on a lot of peoples computers as well, and I always feel a connection with that person because of that. I will continue to keep telling people about your site, because its so well curated. Thanks for making it awesome!

  4. Thanks Bobby, great to see how big this has gotten. Although I only discovered your blog recently, (while looking through the Guardian, Guide) you update all the time and give me a great insight into design etc. Good Luck and hope you keep this up.

  7. Thank YOU Bobby.

Although my bookmarks folder is full of art blogs, KN is at the top. You post great stuff, and its personal, without being that self-important, look how hip I am bullshit.
