Nike Free Run+ Music Shoe

*The NIKE FREE RUN+ is absolutely a running shoe.
Shoes sold at retail will NOT make music when bent or twisted.

The folks over at Wieden+Kennedy, Tokyo have made yet another charming and smile inducing ad for Nike, this time around their new running show the Nike Free Run+. It’s just a clever idea of a couple of Japanese DJs taking the shoes, twisting them to make sounds and then creating a song around it. Nothing fancy, just a demonstration of how fun living the Nike lifestyle is… hopefully you sensed the irony in that last sentence. Seriously though, I think the commercial is really fun, and it’s a great way to feature some shoes without sticking to any traditional advertising schemes. It’s too bad for the rest of us that the ad is aimed at the Japanese market.
