The Desktop Wallpaper Project featuring Ciara Phelan
February 17, 2010 - By Bobby Solomon - Category: The Desktop Wallpaper Project

Good morning, I hope you’re having a good day so far. I’m writing this from a hotel in San Francisco today, which is quite a change of scenery but I couldn’t be happier. For today’s wallpaper we have something a little different, a beautiful paper cut collage by the amazing Ciara Phelan. Ciara is a designer currently living in London where she’s been creating this intricate, hand-cut collages that are both playful and extremely colorful.
I really thought that her desktop wallpaper went well with the things I’ve posted over the last few days so I thought I’d share it today. I love the color palette on this one, I think it’ll work great as a wallpaper. Not too flashy and distracting but with a few splashes of color and some nice textures to give it some pop. A big thanks to Ciara for sending me such a rad wallpaper!

Hey I was just in San Francisco last week! I really enjoyed the coffee at La Boulange Bakery on Hayes. I think it’s organic.
Are you meant to see edge of the image or should the background be solid black?
