‘This Too Shall Pass’ by OK Go
January 21, 2010 - By Bobby Solomon - Category: Music VideoThe guys from OK Go have a new album out called Of the Blue Colour of the Sky and with it are a slew of absolutely clever videos. They still might be the 2010 version of Maroon 5, but that’s beside the point. The video above is for the song This Too Shall Pass and features the guys marching around with the Notre Dame marching band in an open field, though some are in ghillie suits, hiding among the brush.
I guess the really admirable thing about this video is that it was all shot in one take, or at least it seems to be, though there is a part in the middle where they cut away which seems fishy. Nonetheless it’s quite a feat to coordinate such a thing, and no matter what you may think of their music they excel at creating really memorable music videos.

The 2010 version of Maroon 5? Brutal. Way to cover your hipster credibility.
@Natty – Way to make a snarky hipster comment to look way cool.
But seriously, why isn’t it OK to just like a fun band? Why the backhanded jab? Love the wallpapers, by the way.
@Natty – I don’t remember saying it wasn’t okay to like fun bands, in fact I think I like a lot of fun bands as a matter of fact. That guy just reminds me of the dude from Maroon 5, that’s all.
What happens if you put Gwen stefani, the 2009 Radiohead’s grammy’s performance, the Drumline movie and a cool rock band on a blender?
awesomeness this made my day.
