‘Machotaildrop’

January 21, 2010 - By Bobby Solomon - Category: Films

Looking like something between Napoleon Dynamite and a Wes Andersen flick comes Machotaildrop, the tale of “an amateur skateboarder, Walter Rhum, who realizes his dream of turning pro and riding for the world’s greatest skateboard company… Machotaildrop.” The movie looks pretty ridiculous in all the best ways, dues wearing striped shirts, stuffed horses and eccentric foreigners. I also like that they threw in the P:ano song Heaven, which plays in the middle of the trailer. Should be a fun and mindless movie.

  1. Looks great! I love Napoleon Dynamite, dig Wes Anderson, enjoy Skateboarding. :) Plus it has a nice surreal character.

  2. I was so psyched to see this. What an amazing film, I love how it has that sort of “Clockwork Orange” feel to the scenes, like when they all scream at the end and jump into the park. Just purely cinematic parts with no real purpose. Juiced on this!
