Polaroid PIC 1000

Zombie photography brand Polaroid is slowly starting to claw it’s way out of the earth to roam the streets again, and the photos above show one of their first new releases. It’s called the PIC 1000 and is a refabbed version of the old Polaroid OneStep camera, coming in a slick wood grain pattern or a more traditional silver and black. It’ll take Polaroid 600 film, which I believe is now being produced by The Impossible Project, so you can shoot instant photos just like you used to.
I’m going to wait and save my money though for the Lady Gaga edition which will be covered in latex, metal spikes, leather buckles and a mysterious bulge that may or may not be a penis.

If you've got something to say, keep it positive.i am glad i have some old polaroid cameras laying around as this looks extremely hideous (judging from the photos) ;)
just hoping the newly produced film will not be as expensive as the ones that polapremium is selling on their website…

They DO look a little weird, I agree @ Thomas! Awkward shape, I like the wooden one though.
@Thomas & Richiiee – To me they kind of look retro, like a 1950′s vision of a camera from the future.
I agree. A Gaga edition would totally have an inappropriate bulge.
I remember my dad having a Polaroid back in the 70′s. Brings back some nostalgia. I’m feeling kind of particular towards the wodd-grain model myself.
well i hope this is just the start and they create a whole new bunch of cameras if they sell well enough.
although something similar to the sx-70 would be awfully pricey i guess ;)

the shape has indeed a cool vintage/futuristic feel but those finishes are totally off..
i want to buy one. anybody knows where to get one either from online or from stores in singapore??
