Absolut Bar by Yorgo Tloupas

Designer Yorgo Tloupas was asked by Absolut Vodka to create a bar that they could portable and obviously, look good. So he created two pieces, a serving area with a back lit display behind it that’s covered by four metal pieces. These metal pieces act like an op art piece, to see the whole design you have to stand directly in front of the bar, otherwise it looks like nothing but a big black box. I also like that the cut out pattern is made up of tiny Absolut bottles, it’s a subtle touch that works well.
