Atsushi Hara

December 10, 2009 - By Bobby Solomon - Category: Illustration

I came across the illustrations of Atsushi Hara in a book of Japanese illustrators and totally fell in love. Unfortunately I couldn’t find nearly any info online about him. But his illustrations are so festive and full of color and life. This style of contemporary takes on illustrations from the 60′s and 70′s is all over the place these days but I totally love it. I wonder he’s done any illustrations for Monocle yet?

  1. Nice!
There’s a bit more information on his website [http://www.atsushi-hara.com] but it hasn’t been updated since late ’07. I wonder what he has been up to recently?
