Todd Baxter

December 4, 2009 - By Bobby Solomon - Category: Photography

I’ve fallen in love with these photos by Todd Baxter, a Chicago based photographer who’s use of color is amazing. All of his photos have this sort of surreal vibe to them, like something you’d see in a painting. It could also be the colors he chooses, everything just seems to pop. They also seem kind of like something out of childrens story, albeit a very contemporary one.

I think 20×200 needs to release some of this guys work!

If you've got something to say, keep it positive.
  1. A lot of his work is displayed at Lula Cafe (http://www.lulacafe.com/), a phenomenal Chicago restaurant. The first time I walked in there, I saw astronauts in a forest and thought to myself, “I’m gonna love this place.”

  2. You’re absolutely right about his color usage, works incredible well with his subject matter.

Thanks for the heads up on yet another amazing artist Bobby, you have one of the most consistently refreshing blogs out there, keep up the good work!
