I’m kind of behind on this, but somewhere in the past couple weeks I posted my 2000th entry. I started the blog on April 1, 2007, which was 1004 days ago, or roughly 2.5 years. Since then I’ve written about an average of 2 posts per day, which seems kinda crazy to look back at it like that. I just want to say thanks for reading the blog. I’ve met so many rad people and I’m looking to meeting a lot more as the years go by. Thank you for being a friend.

This is probably the most superficial thing to say on such a monumentally awesome reflection, but I always think your blog deserves about 55 more comments a day than it gets…
To be fair, this is my first comment, and I feel like it’s not really coming across the way I want it to, so maybe I relate more to the quiet observers who really enjoy learning and discovering all kinds of fantastic things through your posts and how you make Los Angeles seem a lot less dismal than it feels to me right now and want to say something of value but get nervous which is really absurd but then that’s just sort of how these things work and so you ramble on and lose your point….
