Julien Pacaud

November 10, 2009 - By Bobby Solomon - Category: Design & Illustration

I’ve really been enjoying the vibrant work of French illustrator Julien Pacaud, who dabbles in computer aided collages. His work reminds me of a more colorful and weirder version of Mark Weaver. It’s amazing to me how someone on another continent is making art in a similar vein. Where he finds all of the images in his work I couldn’t imagine, but the way he puts everything together is really brilliant and his colors really enhance everything.

  1. oh my gosh! I cannot believe you featured the work of Julien! I used to talk to him so many years ago and totally lost contact..i will never forget when I first saw his ’50 polaroids that never existed’ project on deviantArt..that project continues to inspire me down to this day!

thanks for helping me recall the good memories!

  2. These are great. I love the vintage feel. The coloring reminds me of old photographs with a splash of soft color.
