I’m really loving the way that Thomas Prior captures environments. Thomas is a 30 year old photographer who lives Brooklyn, taking pictures of interesting people and far off places. He has quite a knack for shooting people, but there’s something really exciting about his landscapes as well. The top photo was taken at Blackrock Tower, which is like a swimming spot for the young and the old. I love how surreal the water looks as it rushes up the stairwell, even though in reality the stairs lead directly into the water. The second photo is just a storm in the desert, but there’s something really magical about it.
