Tatsuro Kiuchi

October 12, 2009 - By Bobby Solomon - Category: Art & Design & Illustration

The other day Jen Bekman tweeted about the artist Tatsuro Kuichi, a Japanese illustrator who originally studied Biology but then came to Art Center to study art. Based upon his illustrations I’d say this was a pretty smart idea. I think calling his work minimal would be pretty fitting, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t beautiful. The simplicity to his work and textures he uses are entirely charming and his color palette is always spot on.

You should click here and take a browse through his Flickr, there’s an endless trove of great work.

If you've got something to say, keep it positive.
  1. Love Tatsuro’s work and his clever use of negative space too
