Broadcast & The Focus Group Investigate Witch Cults of the Radio Age

September 22, 2009 - By Bobby Solomon - Category: Art & Design & Music & Music Video

I’ve been a big fan of Broadcast for years now, and it’s been 4 years since the release of Tender Buttons. But spontaneously they’ve decided to release a new “mini-abum” called Broadcast & The Focus Group Investigate Witch Cults of the Radio Age which features 23 songs totaling 48 minutes. Mini-album, huh?

What’s great about this though is that they asked Julian House, the visual designer for Broadcast’s album art, to contribute, which is where The Focus Group part comes in. The visuals in the video above are absolutely amazing and some of the best I’ve seen in a while. The music is also pretty phenomenal, which gets me even more excited for the next album.

  2. – uf, this video is too beautiful. and the title also..( evokes the spirit of Kenneth Anger and sweet psychedelic candypop) i wish i did it-to paraphase Oscar Wilde from old Monty Python’s sketch!
