Lost Cause (Live) by Beck and The Flaming Lips
Sea Change was definitely one of Beck’s most melancholy records, recorded around the time he broke up with his long time girlfriends. But I love this sweet live version he did with The Flaming Lips on KCRW, almost a 360º for the song. Instead of being sd, it’s turned into an upbeat country ballad, making it almost seem sweet and endearing. I’ve thought about sharing this for a while, so I thought I’d throw it out there for ya’ll.
