Yellow Bird Project

March 9, 2008 - By Bobby Solomon - Category: Clothing & Design & Illustration & T-shirts

What’s better than buying a new awesome t-shirt? How about buying a new awesome t-shirt that one of your favorite bands designed? What if it got even better? How about buying a new awesome t-shirt that one of your favorite bands designed that also helps people in need? Well, Yellow Bird Project has done just that.

Based out of Montreal, Yellow Bird Project teams up with some of the raddest bands out there who come up with a cool looking t-shirt graphic, sells the t-shirts online and then donates the money to a charity of the bands choosing. I think this is such a great idea on so many levels. So far the participants include bands like Rilo Kiley, Devendra Banhart, Stars, Wolf Parade and The National, who’s t-shirt you see above, which is also my personal favorite of the batch.

For more information and to check out the rest of the designs, go visit Yellow Bird Project to help people and look cool at the same time.

Thanks to Max for the tip on this!
