An Awesome Weekend, featuring Mcbess + Neil Doshi

This weekend was one of the best weekends I’ve had in a really long time, so I thought I’d share some of it with you all. Friday night I had the chance to meet up with DWP contributor Mcbess and some of his friends out in Santa Monica for a little California Pizza Kitchen. Mcbess and his friend Patrick were visiting from London for the weekend to visit their friend Xavier, so we thought it would be rad to meet up outside of the internet/email world. They ended up being a bunch of really rad guys so later in the night we headed out to Cha Cha’s in Silverlake to watch the hipsters and drink vodka tonics. I now have an official crash pad in London, sweet!

Saturday around noon I headed over to my friend Frank’s house and he and his boyfriend Jonny and I had an official Pepsi Raw taste testing luncheon. It was filled with amazingly delicious foods, great conversations, and the nicest afternoon Los Angeles has had in months. I also took lots of pictures so keep a look out for those, as well as the official verdict on how Pepsi Raw really tastes!

Then earlier tonight I had the pleasure of meeting up with +KN friend Neil Doshi who was visiting from Montreal. We ended up walking around Family and Turntable Lab over on Fairfax, then eating some French fries and carrot cake over at Canter’s. Neil was also a really rad guy and we had a good time chatting about the liquidity of design and how great Candian music is. He also gave me a rad zine he made called feeeeeeelings vol. 1 (the image above is a bit of the cover) and a white Furni x Cool Hunting watch as well, which is pretty sweet.

Hopefully this is just a preview of a totally awesome summer.

Bobby

P.S. Many thanks to Misa, for writing me the sweetest email ever.
