Lakai’s Fully Flared

Check out this awesome intro to the new-ish Lakai video, Fully Flared. The video was directed by Spike Jonze, Ty Evans and Cory Weincheque, took over four years to make, and contains over 30 skaters including Eric Koston, Marc Johnson, Mike Carroll, and Guy Mariano.

The song on the video is M83′s “Lower Your Eyelids to Die With the Sun”, and I’ve never seen it used better. The slow motion an explosions work so well with the haunting song. The rest of the video has some pretty rad artists as well, including The Arcade Fire, The Flaming Lips, Fischerspooner, and UNKLE.
