Broken English
December 2, 2007 - By Bobby Solomon - Category: FilmsOne of my new favorite sites I’ve been checking out lately is called The Playlist. It talks about movies, and the soundtracks that go along with the movies, but in a fun, intelligent way. while reading it earlier tonight, I spotted this amazing looking move featuring Parker Posey.
Ever since Best In Show I’ve loved Parker Posey, and seeing her in anything makes me happy. But now she’s in this new movie called Broken English, and it looks pretty cute. It’s directed by Zoe Cassavetes, daughter of director Nick Cassavetes, and feature Posey as a 30-something still trying to figure out what she wants in life. But then she meets the exciting Frenchman Julien, and things begin to change.
Okay, it could possibly be pretty dumb, but I want to see it no matter what. I guess it’s had limited release, but this is the first time I’ve heard of it. Anyone know anything else?
On a final note, I think her hair looks amazing. I honestly think that’s the gayest thing I’ve ever written on this blog, haha… But it’s also completely serious. Why don’t more women these days have really dark brown hair like that? She looks so hot.
Mom, take note, you could have hot hair like that.

If you've got something to say, keep it positive.Yeah this is an pretty good movie. Posey plays a really great “complete mess”. I don’t wanna spoil anything for you, but this is a very classic story. Nothing really surprising happens. Worth seeing but not memorable. If you want to see a good “chase my lover halfway around the world” movie see Testoserone. It’s good, and you get to see Antonio Sabato Jr.s somewhat tainted goods.
I saw it. Agree with faz – it’s not memorable. First I saw a trailer I thought it’s interesting. But the trailer is better than the movie:)
Why U so excite another boring, tipical american movie story. I realy like watching Your website but pleas if U want to find realy interesting movies start to realy digging in world cinematography. Greeting from Poland and sorry for my broken english ;)
Guess what I’m going to say about it? ;-)
Nothing but wonderful, bubbling things I’m sure, haha…
Daughter of John Cassavetes, not Nick. (Sorry, I couldn’t help myself).
