Mixa USB Cassette

Mixa USB Cassette’s are such a stroke of genius, I’m not sure how these aren’t all over the place yet. Mixa is a 1GB storage device, put inside of a cassette tape body. The cool part is the customization, which lets you upload photos from your desktop, your Flickr account, or use the custom make Mixa Bits, or go with one of Mixa’s previously designed versions. You can also choose if you want to use a black or white tape.

This is such a great idea, I want to make one sooooo bad! They cost £19.99, or $40.78, but that also includes shipping as well. It’s not the cheapest thing ever, but if you really want to impress someone with a mix you made, this would be an awesome way to do it.

it’s a great idea, but the price makes it seem unreasonable for how it looks and not what it actually is

Yeah, the concept is rad, but how can you actually deliver a pre-programmed playlist on one of these rather than just lumping a bunch of mp3s on it in no particular order? iTunes isn’t so friendly about exporting playlists that way, those bitches.
