Blog Progress Report
September 28, 2007 - By Bobby Solomon - Category: Life

I just wanted to write a happy little note about my blog because today was a pretty good day. This month was really great, with my total number of visitors actually doubling in size. It’s nice to see that people really like the things I post about, even though my blog would still be around no matter what.
And I like to go out and take pictures at events and art shows, and sometimes people ask me what I’m taking the pictures for? So I decided to get myself some business cards! I was so excited when they came! They’re actually half cards, because honestly, I don’t need a full sized business card, I’m a simple guy, and hell, it helps the environment a little, right? The part with my info has a tiny plus pattern, just like the blog, and the back has the wood grain. I’m obsessed with the details.
I also posted a picture of my first filled in page of Field Notes. I’ve been using to keep track of my blog ideas, and it’s been working really well so far. I jam it into my back pocket with my wallet every morning, and sure enough it’s still doing pretty damn well!
That’s about it. I hope everyone is enjoying the blog still. I just want to say thanks to Tony, Michael, FW, and Jean, you guys are a big help, even if you don’t know it. And extra special thanks to Jeff and my mom, for being my biggest fans!

Skip the Field Notes book, and use your iPhone ;-)
I know once a while back you said you were getting a little tired of the desktop wallpaper project and I feared it was the end of it. Your blog post today reminded me of something… the wallpaper project could be your best source of publicity. I work at a design firm with 120+ people and they are constantly stopping by my desk to tell me I have ‘the coolest wallpapers’. I’m almost tired of repeating “its the desktop wallpaper project. its so awesome. I’ll send you the link.” I’m just saying, keep it up. ;)
