Zuse Toaster by Inseq Design

Why the hell aren’t there more products like this in the world?!
Inseq Design has hit the nail on the head with this one. Zuse is a toaster that prints/burns images onto your bread! While this isn’t idea isn’t that new, the design of it is a stroke of genius. I love that it hangs on the wall, giving you more space on your countertops, and the form is compact and shiny like all good appliances should be.
The Zuse comes preloaded with a bunch of different images that print/burn in a random order, adding to the fun! haha…

So I think this is awesome, but I just have two bones to pick about the design:

first: i want my toast all-over toasty. sure it’d be fun to have a “good mornin'” on it or a big heart or something, but what it comes down to is that in the morning, i want toasty toast. not soft bread with a few crispy parts.

second: when the toast comes out of the toaster, it falls into that little rack, hanging in the air. i understand that it’s done like that because then the toast-art is displayed, but it’s thermodynamically unfavorable. the reason why conventional toasters are so great is that they keep your toast warm after it’s done toasting. with this, your toast has to be eaten right off of the rack, or else it will cool and loose all of its delicious warmness.

but even still, it’s way cool. despite its impracticality, i’d still want one.

    PSHT!
I’m sure the whole piece is toasted, it’s just toastier in the darkened parts.. like kinda burned looking, actually, haha…

And how long do you leave your toast in the toaster for? Hours?
Just get it outta’ there and eat it!!
