Earlier today, Graham and I decided to take a journey over to Echo Park for the Community Record Fair at the Echoplex. It’s basically a bunch of people selling old records, as well some vendors selling shirts/stuffed creatures/handbags. We decided to get there when it opened, which wasn’t a great idea, no one was really there yet. But there was a Cuban Music Festival going on in the park, so we decided to check it out.
There were a ton of people, and the food smelled delicious. We walked around for a while, I took pictures while Graham took some video. I was starving, and wanted some food really badly, but the lines were ginormous. So we headed to Brite Spot and grabbed a bite.
We sat down and our waitress came up, possibly the oldest waitress in the world. But she was totally cute and nice, and I loved her. I ordered an egg salad sandwich, which was yummy. Then we headed back over to the record thing, and it still wasn’t poppin’. So we decided to call it a day and head home.
Check out behind the jump for LOTS of pictures. In particular the last three, which are my absolute favorite!
