There’s a great interview with Naoto Fukasawa over at Metropolis. The man is a simplistic genius, turning everyday products like a humidifier into a glossy, minimal torus shaped piece of art. He’s already in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art for his CD Player, which is produced by the ultra-minimal geniuses, Muji.
Pictured above is Fukasawa and his flat LCD screen TV, which is shaped like an old cathode ray TV, bringing a familiarity to it. So simple and perfect.
