Most music visualizers are really horrible. They all have the same random particle generating crap going on and none of them are really worth a damn. But now there’s Magnetosphere, a new iTunes visualizer by Barbarian.

The difference between Magnetosphere and the others, I guess, is that it uses magnetism and gravity to effect the glowing balls and ribbons n shit. I wouldn’t be surprised if Apple caught wind of this and eventually added it into iTunes, much like they did with Coverflow.

Also be sure to check out Robert Hodgin’s blog, Flight 404. He’s the brains behind Magnetosphere, and overall graphics genius. You can get a peek at all of the crazy experiments he’s working on!
